On average between 2000 and 8000 Canadians die each year form flu complications. You can do your part to limit the spread of the flu by getting your annual flu shot.
New Brunswick, it is time to get your flu shot to help keep people healthy and lessen the strain on our healthcare system. Flu shots are available free of charge to New Brunswickers as part of the province’s Universal Flu Vaccination Program. Getting a flu shot, along with practicing respiratory and hand washing hygiene, is the most effective protection against the flu. Your pharmacist can provide New Brunswickers over the age of 5 with a flu shot. Please bring your New Brunswick health card and mask for your flu shot appointment.
Please remember to self screen for symptoms of COVID 19 and don’t enter the pharmacy if you have any symptoms or have tested positive. And you must wear a mask or the immunization cannot be performed. Protect yourself and those around you by getting a flu shot!
